Following on from his acclaimed work ‘
The Upholsterer’, artist Robbie Rowlands will return to Dandenong to create a series of site responsive sculptural works under the title
Salvage.
Rowlands will work directly with select buildings and objects sourced through a demolition process that will see central Dandenong raised to make way for an urban renewal project of unprecedented scale.
These works will be spontaneous and short-lived as they exist only in the period prior to demolition.
